We are eager to welcome new contributors with fresh ideas who can add new
creative stock images to our library on a consistent basis. Because our
professional reputation depends on the quality of the images we represent,
our critical standards are very high. So don’t be discouraged if we say no;
you can always try again in a year or two. Your initial selection should
have between 150 and 300 images representative of
your style and general subject matter. To help us decide whether your
work is appropriate to us, please first complete our questionnaire
form.
Once our picture editor has reviewed your pictures, we will write tou you
to let you know our decision. If you are successful, RH Library will expect
to receive submissions of
250 images or more of equal quality at least twice a year.
Before sending an initial submission, please read our guidelines carefully.
Please present all submissions in the following way:

We strongly recommend that you use a registered or special delivery service; insurance of images sent is your responsibility.
Submission Media
Requirements for all digital assets/images:
CD-R or DVD-R using good quality media. Please write all media
at single speed; this takes longer but reduces errors.
Burn discs using Universal Disk Format and using high standard disc
burning.
Do not copy more than 4.0gb of images to DVD-R discs, as this can make some images inaccessible.
Digital Capture Image Requirements
We can only consider images from professional digital SLR cameras
with a minimum data capability of 10 megapixels.
Shoot as raw files first, then convert to 16-bit tiff using proprietary software. DO NOT submit images shot in either tiff or jpeg mode.
Remember to turn off any in-camera sharpening tools.
Do not sharpen images in any software application; we will do this where
necessary.
Interpolate images between 96-104mb (16 bit).
Retouch all images at 100% magnification to eliminate all dust
and artefacts.
Colour levels should be between 5,5,5 and 250, 250, 250. Images
with pixel values beyond these limits may appear ‘blocky’ when
printed and will be rejected.
All images should be supplied in RGB mode only (No CYMK, LAB,
Grayscale etc.).
Layers, channels and paths are NOT ACCEPTABLE.
Please ensure that your images are correctly orientated – i.e.
right reading.
All images should be fully captioned using the Description field in Photoshop. Do not add data to any other field including the keyword field. // see

Convert to 48-52mb 8-bit files before saving.
Name images using alphanumeric characters ONLY (no special characters).
Save as Uncompressed Tiff Only (No jpegs, bitmaps, PSD, EPS,
RAW etc.).
For your first submission ONLY please include the RAW files for
each image.
Save images in PC byte with no image compression. Do not save as LZW or ZIP.
Model and Property Releases
Include either hard copies or jpeg/pdf's with your submission.
Type 'Model Released', 'Property Released' or 'Model and Property
Released' plus the release reference in the caption/description
field of the image. The reference for the Release must
match exactly with the jpeg/pdf or be clearly written on the
hard copy.
Releases must include the following; model's name, address, telephone and/or
email, date of birth, ethnicity, date of shoot and signature. Releases for under
18's must be signed by a parent or guardian.
Property Releases must be signed by the owner of the property or, in the case of corporate ownership, an employee with the given authority plus his/her title or position within the corporation.
We can supply template copies in several languages if required.
